Joel Treuhaft | Esquire
Joel Treuhaft was born in Ohio, graduated from the University of Michigan, and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toledo College of Law in 1984. Mr. Joel Treuhaft was admitted to practice in both Ohio and Florida in 1985, and he has maintained a practice of law in Florida continuously since 1985. Mr. Joel Treuhaft specializes in asset protection, corporate and individual financial reorganizations, and transactional and civil business law. He has achieved successful outcomes on behalf of corporate clients in difficult, multi-state complex litigation, as well as represented clients before the United States Bankruptcy Court, the Florida 2nd District Court of Appeals, the Florida Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Judicial Circuit. He is an active member of the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar Association and has frequently worked on cases with some of the other top bankruptcy attorneys in the area.
In his spare time, Joel Treuhaft enjoys spending time with his wife and rescuing dogs, playing golf and listening to his extensive collection of music.
